this is one of my favorite photos not only because it was a spur-of-the-moment shot, but also because it ended up being so comical. * isacg and I were in San Francisco spending some time with my girlfriend's family and at Pier 31 we decided to stop for quick snack. While we were sitting at our table, pigeons kept flying in and wandering around looking for bits and scraps of bread.I set my camera to auto-timer (10 seconds) and put it on the ground, then threw some pieces of bread around it. And the resulting photo is this one. The funniest part is the one pigeon on the left... it almost seems like he knows his picture had just been taken!

you should give it a shot sometime to put a camera on auto-timer and get some pigeons to come over.

yeah, the camera was on the ground set with auto-timer, so they weren't afraid of coming close to it.

Great idea.. i've always been trying to find a way to get closer to pigeons.. theyre more afraid of me that i realized, at least in New Haven they are.

they are pretty nervous animals... but their dependency on the breadcrumb donations of humans overpowers their natural instincts sometimes.

I love this..i love your idea, the colours, the sharpness, the wierd pigeons..It's so unreal yet very real. They are almost behaving like humans it's wierd, like a cartoon or something.
