Did this recently as a commission for someone. Every time I draw one of Mike's characters I always think he must be a masochist the way he designs costumes...They're so freaking detailed! I would go nuts if I had to draw this every panel! That said, I actually did enjoy drawing this...Hope you guys like!Related content

Thank you very much! I love drawing hair...Its taken a while to get good at it, and I still feel like I have a long ways to go, but I'm glad you like! And yeah, the costume is a little tough to get right...There's just so much detail involved!!

Thank you! Yes, I am a professional freelance artist, primarily working for Aspen Comics the past 3 years or so. I definitely appreciate the offer for work, and if there is something specific that comes up that you have in mind let me know, but for right now I'm completely swamped and just trying to meet the deadlines that I have for the comic work that I do

I think when it come to Mike work detail is everything. I think it's utter madness that he been draws with such detail. I'm in wonder how he layout his illustrations. I sometimes ask myself does he go mad with an eraser.
When it comes to your work you are always slackin off some where lol. Well my compliment for today is you did a wonderful job on the hair and body. Thou I'm kinda curious on your dramatic selection for the pose lol. Anyway good job!

Whoops... I guess I was wondering in Wonderland again while writing. I was curious about the pose you selected. Usually I find that you use more dramatic poses so this is rather the firt time I seen you go with something soft and blend well with the soft background. I found it very interesting. Hope that clears up what I was trying to say.

Haha...Thats cool man. Actually the guy I was drawing this for wanted to use it as a tattoo on his upper arm, so I wanted to make sure I used a pose that would fit well vertically...thats basically what it came down to. And I wanted to do something a little different than what I normally do.
