This was a fun experiment where I didn't allow myself restrictions as to what I wanted this to end up looking like. While it's not the most cohesive piece, it did allow for some for fun improvisation that helped me to develop some interesting techniques to use in the future.

The piece took about 2.5 hours in Krita, using only pre-loaded brushes with some minor editing on size, scatter, and pressure settings for certain brushes. Looking back I could have saved a lot more time on this piece.

As a fun challenge, try approaching your art with a full improvisational approach with only a time limit. We'll say max 2.5 hrs but 2 will be plenty.

Ask yourself:

What is good or bad about the piece?
What improvements could you make?
Did you develop any helpful techniques along the way?
What would I have done differently with an extra 15 minutes?

Remember that art is a process, be kind to yourself and your work but don't be afraid to challenge yourself and improve!
