Currently, I am inspired from my first oil pastel landscape to continue making abstract landscapes. I wanted to give this one a dreamy feel contradictory to the naturalness of the trees.My first oil pastel landscape: fav.me/dc3gp9e

I like how you've kept the ground from being entirely black, it helps to draw the attention to the trees in the middle which are slightly darker. Great job overall!

Thanks! Originally, I wanted to black out the entire ground, but when I tried blending with the papertowel I liked the texture it created so I kept it that way. ^.^

Wow those are some convincing trees. I wouldn't say the purplee sky makes it abstract though; maybe if there was more sky.
