Pretty sweet. You should try a two-light setup next time and see if you can get your subject cross-lit.

I will definitely give it a shot! Because spring is here it's harder to shoot in a controlled situation as the birds do are feeding on bugs a couple months down the line I'll retry it with a split lighting setup.

When you increase the speed of the camera you can do that too

yes you can but it wont give you that nice rich black background with my situation shooting during a cloudy winter with little to no light would require iso 3200 to 6400 to get the shutter speed fast enough. I wanted to create something I could submit to stock agencies.
