LovedΒ this drama!!Β If you watch Chinese dramas too I recommend Scarlet Heart, which is based off the same book, and Palace which is a favorite of mine that is based off the same book also but also has some plot themes copied from Meteor Garden/BOF/HYD.Β A couple boring episodes in the middle but I still love it!!!

I think one of the best parts of this drama (besides the amazing music, characters, actors) is that there isn't a useless 3rd wheel that we know the female lead has no interest in.Β She actually has feelings for both which is refreshing!
