Description
Here is a night version of Casper Bluffs. The milky way is of my creation where I've used layers of stars, plus smoke and other elements to get the effect. The moon I took with a 300 mm lens with mirror lockup and away from town. With my space library, there are numerous element I use over and over. This image only took about 20 minutes to put together.Related content

The shot of the bluffs was late afternoon. I removed the original sky and meticulously cleaned the trees with the background eraser, then added foliage back in to make the trees look as real as possible. All the other elements are added in. This is what makes photo manipulation so much fun. I love it because I can create anything that suits my fancy. The hard part is getting it seen and making it popular, and I do have my reasons for wanting my creations to be popular. Without a voice you can't accomplish much in this world.
