Hey, all. Can't have 'How to Train your Dragon' Week and not have a pic of a dragon, right? So here's Toothless, the main dragon from the movie. I must say, I think his design is very strange; something like a salamander, pony and traditional dragon combined. There's even some rabbit in there with the way his ears look. Odd indeed...Anyway, I'm having fun this week and hope y'all are enjoying the change of pace. Ref used. Hope you like it!

i think the design is rly funny. he looks very cartoony and yet believeable. i think that's how dragons look in real life. xD

Toothless was patterned after the alien-pretending-to-be-a-dog Disney character, Stitch. Toothless and the other dragons seem to have the personality of a cat in so many ways like grass which is some sort of a catnip, being scratched behind the ears, played with light and sometimes, i think i would hear them purr....

Now that is cool. I always thought that Toothless and Stitch looked very similar. Which is actually true since Chris Sander is the guy who drew both.
