I'm constantly playing around with different techniques...you'd think I'd be over that by now but no way!Just by drawing on toned paper and adding some white highlights can take a drawing to a whole 'nother artsy level.

I'd buy this one too! I love the way you and Dan Berger draw the Turtles. How did it work drawing on the toned paper? Did you sketch this out beforehand or have to go with ink from the start?

I just roughed it out in pencil (I don't need to pencil turtles too tightly if I'm inking them), inked it, toned it with grey copic markers and then added some white color pencil for the highlights.

Cool. It looks great. I think the white pencil really adds a lot to it.
