Leo in watercolor 9x12. I never know if I should do the bandannas all red like the original Mirage Turtles or in color like the tv/toy Turtles. It's kind of a drag when somebody wants to tell me that I got the colors wrong so I opted for the blue here

True fans know that the original turtles all had red bandanas and they changed them for the cartoon series so people could tell them apart easier

We were asking for it over the last couple of years at cons, we had 4 banners, one of each turtle, all with the red bandannas. We kind of took turns setting people straight.

The facial structure and line work evoke the 4Kids Turtles a little so good call going with blue instead of red.
