I've been thinking, since Nintendo doesn't bother actually giving adequate legal alternatives to ROM sites, and since they needlessly killed Virtual Console, I keep hoping that some day they do something like this. Basically a compilation of Super Mario Bros. 1-3, Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Donkey Kong 3, The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II The Adventure of Link, Kirby's Adventure, Kid Icarus, Metroid, Duck Hunt, Ice Climber, Balloon Fight, Earthbound Beginnings, Excite Bike, Wrecking Crew, Mach Rider, Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon and The Blade of Light, Wild Gunman, Clu Clu Land, 3D Hot Rally, Famicom Detective Club The Missing Heir, Famicom Detective Club The Girl Who Stands Behind, Joy Mech Fight, NES Open Tournament Golf, Ice Hockey, Soccer and Pinball. Went with games from franchises that are primarily owned by Nintendo so that they wouldn't have to pay so much in royalties, but it wasn't an easy decision including certain ones while leaving others out.
