Description Another piece going towards the portfolio.
This obviously took longer than the children's book style pieces, but I don't think it took me nearly as long as I expectedβ€”or at least the time seemed to fly by, despite Photoshop crashing and setting me back an hour or so...

Another conceptual illustration, based off of that old story of mine, Project Purgatory. The story itself needs some major scrutinization and revision, but in and of itself it still provides some cool visual ideas...

EDIT: Thanks to for a bit of a critique! I ended up tweaking the colors around the floating flash drive, made it less purple, more blue. Now I think the colors are more balanced...

OooOOooo~ Beautiful! As for a portfolio piece, awesome. But I feel like it's poking at me saying it needs something a little more. *shrug* Love it!

Thanks very much!
You think it needs more? Do tell! Who knows, I may add something in if I think it would improve it!

*nods* I don't think it needs anything more in composition. It would get cluttered.
But I dunno...maybe some even more dynamic coloring? Like, more light/color cast effects? Maybe in her eyes? Perhaps tie the colors of the debri (like the purple one) more into other parts of it.

*shrug* And then again maybe I'm totally wrong. πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Hmm... Actually, what I may do with that is just make that object more blue like everything else... Originally it was anyway, but when I started adding lighting layers over top of everything, for some reason there must have been just enough red in the base colors to wind up turning it purple in all the blue light...

Thanks for pointing it out, though! It is kind of an eyesore by itself...!

You're welcome! I think that would be a good little fix. :]
