Finally a good photo here on DA that features a cat. The cat makes the photo complete. Yes.

what is the significance of the cat? is that essential to the composition?
what was your motivation in leaving the border in?
if it were i, i would get rid of the cat. it feels surreal, which is probably what you were going for, but it just comes out looking contrived. UNLESS you were going for a dreamscape, and then it's perfect.
