What really intrigues me is how dark and calm the environment is and how the only source of light, the boat, has that inviting feel about it. Even if it is made of sodding skulls.
Making the ceiling and bottom of the picture not appear so bright could have amplified the ambiance even more.

A ship of dragon bones? What could be scarier? If the dragon were alive, maybe, but still... I wouldn't fight any dudes that came out of that thing.
Excellent job with the details, like the ship fading into the blackness of the cave. Good job!
This reminds me of a Norse mythological ship, but I can't remember the name of it. Norse names are so wacky.

(I'd like to cross the Styx in such a classy ship, if my soul could afford one.)

I understand this was made with photoshop or corel, but I still think it looks like water painting. I like the depth of the cave, but the water is even better, with its riddles, reflection effect, and soft texture.

Always a pleasure to check out your work.

UUUH, the boat is a killer! The mood in the cave is really cave-ish. Love the simple quick and yet fitting style! Kick ass!

Beautiful subtle lighting transition. Reminds me of the hobbit illustrations.
