As you can tell from the date, I seriously procrastinated on submitting this. I was supposed to finish shading this by the time I left Canada... But NOO I had to finish it in gym class.Well I'm alive so, great.

It's awesome to see where you've come from to the work you're creating now. The new coloring utensils you have are going to take you to such greater and livelier heights and I'm excited for your journey there! It's interesting to see your older work with just pencil (or ink) now! ^^
I like the light shading you did in this piece and the cutesiness of the bear in their lap and the butterfly on their finger. I also like the way you did the hair and that loopy strand that doesn't want to be a part of the rest of the head of hair XD I also like that you have a lot going on here without the drawing becoming overwhelming, that's a great balancing technique. I also like the bit of plaid on the shirt cuffs and those glasses are pretty fancy! Would never have thought to do the top line faded than the rest.

Thank you! Though you should give some credit to the others and YOU yourself, you guys all inspired me and motivated me to where I am now! I guess you could say that my eyes opened as I continued drawing, seeing the mistakes and improvements I could make. All because of the critics I received, as well as your own!
