"Massive Buddyz (also known as 'Buddyz of The Rural')" is a 2007 South African youth-inspiring comedy drama film loosely based on the characters from the 2000 children's drama 'Soul Buddyz', produced by Soul City Institute and Curious Pictures, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing International for the UK based-South African fast food chain restaurant, Wimpy. Directed by Angus Gibson and co-directed by Cindy Lee, it is the third film in the Soul Buddyz Cinematic Universe (SBCU) and the second spin-off/fifth installment of the 'Soul Buddyz' franchise. The film stars Tsholofelo Wechoemang, Innocentia Lumadi, Jafta Mamabolo, Walter Meyer and The Dolo Twins reprising their roles from the second season of the drama series, along with new additions such as Themba Ntuli and Rikus Strauss.

In the plot, Karabo and the gang had discovered that their rural village is about to get torned down by an evil wealthy construction businessman and his construction team, so it's up to the Massive Buddyz to save their land and community from being taken away from the forces of evil before the land is dead gone and everyone dies.
