Alexanderplatz is a large public square and transport hub in the central Mitte district of Berlin, near the Fernsehturm (in the centre of this picture). Berliners often call it simply Alex, referring to a larger neighborhood stretching from Mollstraße in the northeast to Spandauer Straße and the City Hall in the southwest.
This is one of the first pictures I’ve shot with my new camera, Canon EOS 5D Mark II, and I can tell you it’s a huge pleasure to work with…! What a fantastic camera…!!!!
