I dedicate this picture to one of my favourite dA artists, Damien, from Bordeaux, France:I have deeply thought of him when I shot this picture: the structures, the sky, the tones, the clouds were so low and heavy, the light seemed to be close to monochrome, I’ve just got the strange feeling to be inside one of his pictures...!!! Very interesting experience...
Shot some weeks ago in my village... This is a very small canal which becomes huge after a big rainfall...
Canon EOS 300D + Canon zoom 10-22 mm @ 10 mm. A-DEP automatic position.
Contrast AND “Decrease Blue” in Colour Variations with Photoshop, noise reduction and frame with Paint Shop Pro...

This is one of the things I love in France!!! The picture is almost a painting! Great shot! I've got lots and lots of pictures of france in my album, but I bought my digital camera about 2 month ago! So I have to take new pictures. Upto now I've only been in France during the summertime, so I really like it to see pictures of it in other seasons, when the tourists are gone!!!

the light and contrast really create a dramatic atmosphere, capturing the viewer, and dragging him inside your shot. like you feel trapped in kil1k's photographs (in a positive way). I appreciate your sense for symmetry here, the composition is wonderful, I'm in awe. this really has got a certain touch of melancholy, all these pale colours... those clouds. I'm absolutely moved.
