Description
Silently and peacefully waiting for the first spring signs, I was feeling myself simply in harmony with Mother Nature today, just breathing, slowly but deeply, in perfect rhythm with the wind, thinking about life’s unknown future symphonies...This area, planted only with vineyards and cherry trees, is called Le Causse de Boussague, it’s just at 5 km from my village, on the plateau surrounding and overhanging the valley where I live... In the background, Les Monts d’Orb and their evergreen mediterranean oaks, always waving in the wind...
I’ve taken this picture today at 1:30 pm, just after a quick lunch, the wheather was so wonderful, not so cold as recently and with a clear winter light. Always shot with my Canon EOS 300D and 10-22 mm Canon lens...
I’ve just reinforced the clarity with Neat Image and cropped / framed with Paint Shop Pro. No color manip...

The wine-trees creates a great geomethrichal pattern from the angle you shoot this from (nearly lying down on the ground 
I can spot some thiny small signs of green into all the dead and dry grass, leafes and branches from last year, promising that it will all start over again very soon!! The sky and hills are beautiful, too!!
I was camping in a tent into a vineyard not so far from St.Tropez many, many years ago, when I was on a motorbike holliday one summer down through central and south Europe with my boy-friend than and some friends of us.. One evening a BIG spider sat on my sleeping bag!! Guess who's ALWAYS shaking her sleepingbag, searching shoes and every other things before I wear them after that... Othervice it was a quiet and idyllic place, green grapes growing on the wine'stocks', watercanals filled with snakes... and a landlord that did not speak one word English - and all I could say in French was common polite phrases..

And when Spring does arrive, the smell of the cherry blossoms! So good. We have lots of cherry trees around here and it's aways the sweetest smelling time of the year.

Gnarly trees have a beauty of their own, inviting me to come and savor the patterns in them close up, and touch them with my hands. The blue mountains in the distance make me feel like I am looking into forever. This is a place for meditation.

I must say that I belive you should tone up the tree stumps unless you want to use them as a silohoutte? SKy is beatiful, nothing is better then a great sky. Enjoy it mate, cuz i sure do.

I quite like it
But I like it more when I turn my brightness down.
I think it's too bright for me... The left side at least.
I covered the left side with my hand and I really like it.
It's neat how the rows are so parallel
Whenever I drive to California, I like to make myself dizzy by focussing on one tree while paying attention to the ones behind it and rotating my head with the tree. Makes for some entertainment for at least 4 seconds at least once every three hours

I was thinking of that one... the laws of sensor distances be a harsh mistress... I didn't get it, I bought the 17-40 instead...

this morning,... two feet of snow over night and still coming down, another foot expected before the day is done.
Oh well, just means get to ski all the longer, and I never argue with an extended ski season.

Trè belle image, pleine de mouvements avec ces pieds de vigne qui semblent aller dans toutes les directions et ce nuage qui descend en cascade derrière la montagne.
Et oui le printemps va finir par arriver et peut-être qu'on va s'ennuyer de ces paysages nus
