Brunhilde, this series is sooooo.....right. I think that's the best word for it. Viewing the pictures, I feel that twinge that tells me something really good has met my eyes. Hard to explain. So, thank you! I'd love to talk to you more about techniques, I have been experimenting with hdr too (not as successfully as you!).

I had trouble figuring out where to place this in favorites. (My "DA's Best" album or the one titled "Simple Beauty".) This is the most amazingly beautiful thing I've seen in quite some time. This is a beautiful shot. The HDR treatment isn't overdone like what most people do. I like how the hanging lights in the back ground create this interesting effect, as if part of it was done using pointillism style illustration.

I do a tone mapping to create the Hdr effect.. then I worked in Photoshop with many regulation to give my personal look!
