*I know the dark mark is supposed to be on her left arm, but it just so happened that for this shot it looked better on her right arm. Yes, it's upside down. It looks better that way and I'm too lazy to fix it. If I get one more comment about the frikin mark I might combust.

This is a wonderful piece of art work. The Detail is astonishing and the subject is very realistic. However, as the others have stated 'The Dark Mark' is on the wrong arm and is the wrong way up. The head of the serpent should be down by the wrist and as the others have said it should be on the left arm. But other than that this is a very cool piece of artistic talent. I would like for you if you wish to make a great one of Severus Snape. If you do not mind requests. Thank you

This is absolutely flawless. Not only does the green glow seamlessly flow right off of the wand tip, you were also able to manipulate the colour of the light reflecting off of her skin to give it the feel of radiating towards her as the spell escapes. The dark setting and dark make up, hair, and clothing also authenticate her presence as that of evil, and makes the green glow appear to be sinister and looming, as opposed to bright, as it would have been on its own. And the tattoo is the absolute perfect touch. I think the ONLY bad thing to say about this is that the tattoo was always on the left forearm as opposed to the right. Aside from that, everything is put together perfectly and beautifully, in a very dark manner, with the entire piece looking like it came directly out of the Potter movies. Excellence incarnate!

The first impression is amazing.
I really liked how you manage the lights have to do with the effect of magic.
The only thing I dislike is that the model in the pose looks weird her left breast, but these things aesthetic.
I have doubts with the tattoo, do not you have to do with the subject, or if a part of your vision. I have not seen the original picture but I had the tattoo removed.
But overall it's an amazing work that inspired to do something similar, congratulations.

the dark mark seen may not be cannon, but for the sake of art its good. you see that mark and you know what it is. were it inverted or hidden on the other arm,youd wonder what it is, what she is or what the black smudge on her arm was if you werent familiar with the source.
overall a wonderful job and brilliant use of beauty for evils purpose.

I have seen various attempts to do this online and none comes close to this.
The poise, the composition, the brilliant use of the rule of thirds and the background; the whole picture tells a story by itself. The hair tells us that the person is really in motion, the pose shows the readiness, the wand of the impending doom and the dark mark screams of "Death Eater" People who have not yet watched the movie and only read the book will know instantly this is a death eater.
Manipulation of the photo (the green smoke) and the lighting is wonderfully done and I cannot help but feel the despair the person at the receiving end of this spell will feel.

Though i think your model looks a bit 'clean' to be a death eater; maybe a more sharper and angry expression is needed as if shes really speaking the words of 'avada kedavra'
