First Page: [link] Previous Page: [link] Next Page: [link] This took me a lot longer than it should have - I kept making stupid mistakes with the speech bubbles and lineart.
But finally, it's done! Sorry that it's just a filler-page... but there is plenty of talking to keep you up to date with the story! And just to let you know, the Azars will be the main reason I'm having a contest, but you didn't hear that from me. 
I REALLY don't like the backgrounds in this - it was totally not what I'd envisioned in my head. I hate when that happens, don't you?
And I had to ref some Spirit screenies for the awkward angles in panels 1, 2 and 6. So yeah, this should have been better. 
The next page will be more interesting, 'cos it's going to have their parents, Rhydian (and hopefully) Paige in it! I'm looking forward to making it.

as an oldfashioned GNG-fan I just realized smth weard: IΒ΄ve NEVER saw anyone complaining to people, who use gng-style perfectly on their own characters, but for some reason this Spirit-thing has gone the total opposite way 
I think your style on your horsecharacters has developed a lot and I no more wouldnt call it "copying spirit" but you have a style which is BASED on spirit- which I wouldnt call stealing but plain fanart

Hey, thanks! It's hard for me, because Spirit was the film that started my passion for drawing horses, so that style is all I've ever known as far as drawing horses goes. Over the years I have tried doing subtle differences here and there, and I'm glad you can look at my art and say it isn't plain Spirit-style, but rather, derived from it.

Wow these drawings are so lovely. They remind me of that Spirit. 
Theres just one thing that bothers me, the way the brown horse runs. in some scenes. Im not saying its bad, not at all, the way shes walking is right, yet only if she was walking. There are old pictures taken by a man with a very old camera that shows the way in which horses really run. Its really amazing. And there is so many poses you wont run out, even if you have many characters in one scene! Here is a link to a picture of the horse poses.
