___I think she should be less busty. Even tho her legs, clothes, and eyelids moved perfectly, her boobs change in size as she breathes.

___I seriously can't give you 5 stars for originality, it is far from the first chun-li i ever saw, i mean if you are looking for something to animate the way you did, chun-li sounds like a easy choice to me.

___Your style is incredible, never saw anything like it, the strong and eyecatching colors, the background that highlights her, the realistic way the character is portrayed, the fitting music, the whole concept amazes me.

___Congratulations

Vision: The piece as a whole make my eyes go around the entire image, and with the motion you've added, it really makes it seem as if she were moving and getting ready for a boss fight.

Originality: I've never seen any other Chun Li posts but this one, even though this is a first, I know it can be recreated in other ways. (Thus half a star less)

Technique: Obviously this has taken you a fair share of time, and for it to be accomplished in such a way means you have the skills. -Thumbs up-

Impact: Stunned,No Words.

It certainly made an impact when it first loaded up. It's one thing to add animation to art, but to make it believable is important. I was taken back when she blinked a couple of times as it felt like she was alive and breathing. The lighting I feel has been done perfectly, the way it hits the chest, partially on the neck and obviously the prominent arm.

The only criticism I have is an agreement to the previous critique that if there was only a little bit more animation on the right side of the body. Even if it was only a small amount of animation, maybe the right arm wavers slightly and maybe for the right leg to show small tremors. Not to highlight the lack of power, but rather the opposite to show how much strength she has to be able to balance herself.

The whole concept is refreshing and eye catching and I only took half a star away because Chun Li has been recreated countless times although, this is one of the best I have seen.

Over all, this is an amazing piece that forces people to stop and stare.

This is absolutely sunning, no questions asked. The perspective is great as is the pose but I feel like the back arm looks just a little bit out of place with how little it moves compared to the rest of the body. The way the rest of the body moves in that stance and the way the clothes and hair wave and move is just mesmerizing. I'm awed at how fluid and natural it all looks. I love how subtle her chest expands and contracts when she breathes. The way she blinks is so nice too; all of it it really gives it a feeling of Chun Li being alive in here. And the lighting! My gosh that's just perfect! The way it moves over the whole picture is just astounding. The background is wonderful as well The music is just perfect and really accentuates the mood. For Vision a 5 out of 5 because you made everything go together so well. For Originality a 4 out of 5 because I've seen artwork similar to this but none have been executed as flawlessly as this does. Technique 5 out of 5 because it definitely takes a lot of skill, time and hard work to create something like this. Impact 5 out of 5 because it really gives you a sense of the her being alive, more so I think than anyone of your previous pieces. Amazing job!

This is simply magnificent!!

Man, your stuffs are so amazing!! I've just start study using After Effect to animate picture recently.
Would you mind if I ask you how to animate her cloth and ribbons like that? Is it a wave warp effect or something?
I tried to use wave warp on tail but I can't stick the root of tail on character. It's keep waving up and down like the rest of it. ;v;

MichelVictor In reply to Porforever [2015-11-19 17:27:24 +0000 UTC]

Use the Pin in the Wave Warp options and select like Right Edge, Left Edge, etc.. depending on what you want. For the tail I wouldn't use wave warp, I think I would prefer use Puppet Tool.

Ahhhhh, that's work!! Thanks so much MichelVictor! I've tried and it's work!
Ohh, I see! the puppet tool will fit more right? I use puppet on other part of character. I'll try on the tail too! >u<
