So little concern for modesty; she's just unwinding, letting the aches of her labor melt from her muscles and so casually, even excitedly, wiggling those darling toes while cool air streams through them blissfully. Absolutely amazing how you crush stereotypes in the simplest ways and give some edge to their elegance!

I'm not a big fan of those "overly-shy" girls as you said. Every anime, every manga has at least one of those type. The only differences between all of them are just hairstyles and clothing.
I like to show that girls can be independent and tough too! Oh, and guys can be shy and feminine as well ;D Well, that's my gallery in nutshell

If I see someone breaking the rules I myself never liked, then best believe I will aim the spotlight at them!
It's true. I feel like those girls are more socially damaging as an influence than even the Disney princesses. Disney's new practice has been creating princesses that are slightly closer to real life in terms of their equality and social climbs. But with manga/anime, they tend to branch out their designated shy women into two extreme branches:
1. Shy in appearance.... and unsurprisingly, shy in behavior. Meek voice, no growth as a character. Waiting for a knight instead of improving themselves.
2. Shy in appearance.... and balanced with sub-godly superpower just for the joke. They might have raw strength or powers, but they still act like meek wall flowers, which is just unenjoyable to me.
I'm partial to women with strong, welcoming personalities because it makes them seem familiar to life, and then the drawing becomes so much better as a result because you can find something in it you recognize from your own social life.Β
