Yay finally done ^^ I thoroughly enjoyed making this image.I'm starting to do backgrounds! It's about time. Lol I couldn't quite capture the look I was going for, but in the end I got hasty and hurried it along to this standing finishing point.
I listened to the song from Kannazuki no Miko's soundtrack, Kanashimi no Hate for the majority of the time spent working on this image. I love that song. <3 It's so relaxing yet sorrowful.
This is a gift to my beloved. Hope you like it, love. <3

Wonderful drawing, I loved KnM. I came for the mechs--being a Gundam Seed fan-- and stayed for the romance/awesome music.
To be earnest in critique, the atmosphere seems to convey the tension around Chikane and Himeko's relationship well. Not only that, but their stare makes it seem we as viewers have intruded on a private moment to which, if intended, I have to say kudos. Well done.

Just recently got around watching the anime, and MAN, I wish I'd done it sooner! :U
But this is such a lovely piece. Emotional, beautiful, serene and there's obviously something going on. But there's also a feeling of sadness... Hmm, I guess that sums up KnM pretty well in general. Beautifully done!

When I found out in Shattered Angels (Forgot the Japanese name lol) that Kaon and Himiko could possibly be their reincarnations, IRL, I had a fangirl squeal.

Haha! There is another anime (A lot older) that has characters like them in it.. When translated it's called something like"Darkness, the Hat, and the Traveller of Books" Also, I got to read a little of the 1st chapter in "Himegami no Miko" its way MORE explict than Kannazuki sadly; so I probably won't get around to it...

It has been confirmed as an online novel so far I think. I've heard thats like KnM accept in an "Alternate Universe" sorta thing. Its really dirty though....>.<

Let's see, with the background...heh all I did was draw big yellowish pasty squares on the ground for where the light from the window would hit, and then i smudged the edges, and hit a few spots with the Dodge tool here and there. Nothing special...it just sorta came together. I messed with that part a LOT. Even as I finished, I was sorta dissatisfied with how the floor came out because i couldn't get it exactly how I saw it in my head, yknow? I don't explain things well

Yes I worked a lot on the background...I sort of struggled with it because I could see it so clearly in my mind but I couldn't quite capture it on the actual image. I think it turned out decent though..
