Day 2: God was willing to save our kind, but in order to do that, He knew He had to be concieved in the womb of a woman, and His choice to do so, was with Mary. But He wasn't going to just come to her unannounced, all willy-nilly. He asked her via the Archangel Gabriel to receive him in her womb. Before the announciation, Mary was deep in prayer, and during the Archangel's visit, knowing that she would become the mother of God, she humbly accepted the request.
