A couple of weeks ago, my amazing friend Loreal, AKA, , made me the giant favor of taking a couple of pictures of her hometown on Indiana during a snowfall, since here in my city in Mexico barley snows. They looked like a Children Book Pages So, I of course will use them for a Roger-Rabbit Drawing, and this is what came into mind.

Inspired by a pic of about her famous OC as a teenager, and since I promised her a present pic for Hannukkah, this is the scene I knew I had to draw:

Set years later, here we see Minnie (Age 17), along her little brother, my OC Aldy (Age 15). Like you can see, Aldy had a big Growth Sprout, and bloomed from a very quiet and timid kid into an athlete and hansome dude. However, like in many other cases, a bigger and bigger distance, grew between him and Minnie, which used to be unseparable back in childhood. Minnie is not a bully or a jerk, but sure hormones, school enviroment and the periods really didn't help in keeping herself as that very sweet, but a little klutz, girl.

One day, bad news strike: Aldy will have to leave town. Minnie is surley not pleased by that, but tries not to make a scene for pride(stupid puberty!). In this dark morning, Aldy is preparing to say goodbye to her big sister, and she just tries to act like the normal bitter and cynical teenager. Aldy even tries to cheer her up by pointing out how they used to play all the time in the very same spot they are now, especially on winter: building snowmen, friendly snow wars, snow angels, and the aftermath with hto chocolate. But Minnie just tried to keep a cold attitude, even trying to focus more on her cellphone than Aldy.
Aldy is upset for this, but he still bears a warm smile and proceeds with:

-You think I don't get it, but I'm smarter than you think. I can perfectly see a facade of bad girl. Even if you don't want to admit it, we really had so many good time, big sis. Call me sappy, but I will never forget all those afternoons playing until falling asleep, all those saturday mornings we watched TV together, and all the nights we shared.

-You may think I only say this because you are my family, but, God, you has been the best sister ever!

Minnie rolls her eyes

-I can't forget how many times you ditched your friends to play with me, all the times you found me hiding while I cried, only to comfort me, and how you always tell me I was amazing. I have talked with my friends, and they all told me not all sister would do that. You were always someone I could always trust, and love.

A little smiles grew on Minnie's face, keeping her arms crossed and without turning her head around.

-Well...I have to go soon, but, before I leave

Minnie was still standing there with a serious posture, she was going to walk away, when Aldy grabbed her from a wrist, pulled her at him, and grabbed her at a hug, only to finish with:

-The only thing I wanted to tell you all these years: If I Had Never Been your Brother...I would have married you!

When Minnie heard the last part of that sentence, her stoic posture finally dead. Her eyes soon filled with tears which didn't take long in falling, and she replied the hug, sobbing without control.
Aldy finally let her go and picked the just come bus, along with his luggage. Minnie looked at him mute, covered her face with her hand, fell on her knees, and cried in silence.

...yeah...MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HANNUKKAH!!!

What did Aldy told to Minnie to break her? Sorry: my little Christmas Secret My bigger fans can easily figure it out!
