Description
The hollow breath of cold drips of air from the looming cave tunnel was the only sound emerging from the two well acquainted competitors' staredown, none moving an inch to break the dreadful silence. With cold judgeful memories piercing through their eyes, they glared intensely and relentlessly, the self-proclaimed king and his traitorous ex-apprentice eye to eye after what felt like the hundredth time that day, despite almost a whole decade of undisturbed distance from each other.

Parco was crouching akin to that of an unrelenting gargoyle, solid in place, itching to pounce with all his might at any given moment, but reluctant.
Crusher was standing unmoving, his head raised high, with statue-esque posture, his stance strongly defying Parco's menacing position.

No words were spoken for what felt like hours, never breaking eye contact, not even for an instance. As if a lurking still-glowing coal of grudges and quiet sparks of spite had been silently surpressed for years and in a moment of flare had been set ablaze as if no time had passed at all.

Then, Parco spoke with a contemptuous hiss;

"Your castle will be mine."

To which Crusher replied in a stern, cold statement;

"As long as I'm here, that is unlikely."
