Triceratholus ornithophagus ( Bird-eating three-horned dome).

Habitat: Plains and forests.

Size: 25 feet long, 9 feet tall, 2 tons.

Diet: Carnivore; ornithopods, young sauropods, large mammals, pterosaurs and birds if catch-able.

Lifespan: Can reach 25-30 but usually die younger.

Sociability: Solitary but not hostile towards others if food is plentiful.

Breeding: Females raise clutch of 8-15 for 10 years.

Triceratholus ornithophagus is named for the trio of horns on the top of its large skull, which is equipped with short yet strong jaws and gripping teeth. At 25 feet long, it is the largest abelisaur of the Lost World, though it is dwarfed by the giant carcharodontosaurs that sit at the top of the food chain. Triceratholus are swift hunters, with powerful hind legs and a long, muscular tail propelling the dinosaur at over 40 miles an hour. Thus allows it to chase after various prey items, from small flying pterosaurs to stampeding Toxodon and Neoiguanodon. It is also fast enough to avoid the huge jaws of the bigger predators of the plateau. hey have lost their arms completely, and have a long, floppy dewlap for display.
