Character: Lacia
Why Lacia is part of the Project: INK & COLOR
Lacia never really struck me hard as a character entity, as the anime came out rather recently and, other than being a character design, she hasn't been much more.
But I fell in love with the way Redjuice decided to design her. She is so beautiful and flawless. She might be the most "superficial" character in this project, but not because of who she is - because I later watched the anime and my adoration for her only got confirmed by her plot - but because she belonged in my list long before her character was made part of a story.
Still, only looking at her brings me a weird feeling of calm. The choice of colors and everything else is just pure perfection.

ABOUT PROJECT INK & COLOR
During the last couple of years, I've had a really rough time. I was diagnosed with severe depression, after months and months of struggling with it without even knowing I had it. Simple tasks such as getting out of bed every day became extremely hard, and I ended up abandoning all my projects and art because I just couldn't do it.
As soon as I got out of high school, I tried to get into an university, but after successfully passing the entrance exam, I completely broke down and was forced to take a year off. I tried to study for another field, one that I loved even more, but when I tried to get into the university a year later, I completely failed because I just wasn't getting better.
Every day is a challenge and all that remains of my old self is this little project.
A little project made of simple drawings with essential tools: ink, colored pencils and the cheapest watercolors. A little project where all the characters that somehow left something in me that I still cherish even after years.
Project INK creates new worlds for me when I need to escape this one.
Project COLOR brightens a dark mind full of dark thoughts.
They make it easier to bear.
