This is such a wonderful shot! I really love the way her face contrasts the dark and the light, and just simply the way this photograph is taken. Excellent job- the model is beautiful!! I think its absurd that "normal" people insult skinny people, just for the plain fact that they are skinny (its easily seen, its just that they are jealous). I am slightly overweight, and people tend to tell me to run to lose weight, which hurts, because I do try (losing weight, I mean). I can understand how you feel. Excellent pose and shot, nevertheless. (:

Ignore all these stupid comments about the model having an eating disorder. She looks amazing, and you captured an absolutely stunning moment. The shadow across her face, and the way her hair is falling down her back. It's stunning. Wonderful work!

Thanks for your comment and replies... I agree 100%! I find it very rude to comment on bodily features in this way... and even worse, diagnosing a sickness....like you say: a comment like "the model is too fat and should reduce weight" would be a "no-no" for most people - and its the same thing....

Exactly! Your model looked absolutely beautiful, and I'm rather upset that people can't look beyond her weight, which I don't even see as being extreme or wrong in any way. You just captured a stunning moment and I'm glad that you were willing to share it with us.

That's an opinion. Try and keep weight comments to yourself. They aren't helping anyone. And, really, she is not that thin. She's just at an angle and in such a pose that the ribs are a bit more noticible.

Are you a trained doctor? Have you gone through medical school and been trained to notice the symptoms of eating disorders? Do you realize that, yes, there ARE naturally thin people in this world? That just because most of the world is becoming incredibly obese doesn't mean that those who weight less than the average person automatically have an extremely serious disease?
Seriously, if you don't have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself. Some angles cause people who are thin, or of 'normal' weight to show their ribs. It's perfectly healthy and natural.

Anorexia is a mental state (and an illness) whereas to be skinny isn't at all.
