I may sound like a nitpicker here but I thought Mercury's surface was dark gray. Did you base this off of the early image?

yea i used the wrong map here tho nasa didnt have a high res color map. i'm not sure which spectrum this is but phil plait posted it on his blog and pointed out the mistake..
