Description

As Link and Ezlo continue their quest to stop Vaati, trying to get all the elements to reforge the sacred Picori Blade, their adventure has taken them to a slight out of beat path to which takes them to a farm, Lon Lon Ranch from the name of it. From the looks of it, Link doesn't see the farmer himself at the ranch, but he does see the farmer's daughter working around the farm, looking busy from the looks of it that Malon doesn't notice the strange boy and his stranger cap. Not wanting to disturb the girl's work, Link walks around the farm until his eyes spots a Picori portal of all things next to the barn. Figuring there might be some items he could use from whatever Minish are around the area, Link and Ezlo enters the portal and shrinks themselves to Minish size. The world once again grew around the boy until he was small as a bug, small enough to enter a tiny crack that leads inside the barn. So far, no Picori or items can be seen, however and unfortunately for Link, he does bump into danger, and the worst of all types of danger to this mini swordsman, a Cucco. The "tiny" Cucco was just lazing on the spot until it felt something bump into its stomach. It looks down and sees something small, something that didn't look like a bug but oddly the Cucco has the urge to peck the thing out of spite. And peck it did as in one quick motion, faster than Link and Elzo could expected, the Cucco pecks at Link's head, bonking him hard, but worse of all, manages to grab Ezlo, Link only means of not only continuing his journey to stop Vaati to save Zelda, but his only means of growing back to normal size. Needless to say, both Link and Ezlo were not happy with this massive poultry and try to get it to release Ezlo, with no luck as the bird just sits on the spot, sometimes pecking Link back just to be a jerk at this point. However, Link, Ezlo, and the Cucco doesn't seem to notice the series of loud booming steps making their way towards the barn, even when the booming steps become strong enough to shake the ground for Link. A shadow soon looms over the three, all distracted with each other to not notice that Malon stands over the tiny Cucco, no bigger than her boot as she walks by, thought stops when she looks down to make sure she doesn't step on the little guy, only to see something next to the tiny bird. Curiousity grows the better of her as she squats down and wonders what the Cucco is doing exactly. It won't be long before Link finally notices the massive girl looming over him like a castle, and what she does next will really determine how much trouble Link will be as he doesn't know if Malon can see him or not. If so, she might reach down to pick him up, taking him away from the Cucco and Ezlo. If she does not, Malon might think Link is just a small bug and picks the Cucco, and Ezlo, away and leaving Link possibly behind. Either way, Link best act fast else he might be stuck at Minish size for a lot longer than he wants to be.

(Okay, so this is the second art trade I'm doing with , with the second art trade idea they wanted me to do was one that involves Minish Link and Malon, and that's about it cause they said I can decide the scenario for this one, and so I did. Now, one major annoyance I had with this one of all things was trying to figure out if Malon was a kid in Minish Cap or she is almost adult age, and yes that is rather important for context given what's said about who can see Minish in that game, and yes, I'm indeed one of those type of people who can be annoying of making drawings fit to the character's personality or general history of the game, its annoying for me too. Its been a years since I last played Minish Cap that I barely remember Malon was in the game, remembered the Cucco Lady more, and looking at Malon's sprite didn't help figure that part out for me, as such, I just made a coin flip and here you go. Anyways, hope you like the drawing.)
