Aww I think that's a long tailed weasel >w<
Did it have a black tipped tail?

I can assure you that this is a stoat and no long-tail. Long-tails are only found in America, and the description clearly says the shot was taken in Norway. Like long-tails, Norwegian stoats also have light ''gloves''/paws. like the one in this shot. I can see why you were confused, though; the underside is yellowish, but long-tails have a deeper yellowish tone to their underside. Long-tails often have somewhat bulkier faces, larger ears and longer bodies than stoats.
Glad you like long-tails so much, though!
Thanks to the photographer- shots like this provide great reference, both when it comes to the animal itself and habitats.

No problem! Thanks for the interest.
I know zoology, but I suck at geography in general, unless it has to do with the things I love. XD

Is your favorite animal in the mustelidae family?

Do you mean which species is my favourite? When it comes to physical design, I'd say the European pine marten, close followed by the otters. But when it comes to behaviour, I prefer all of the weasels (genus mustela and co.). But seriously, all mustelids speak volumes (I mean, they are fantastic as a whole). It's the largest family within Carnivora, and it surprises me how specialized, yet diverse and adaptable they can be.
