I'm more a the legend of zelda fan, but mario is also a franchise i enjoy. However when it comes to my favorite video game characters, Link is not my favorite despite his license being my favorite one.

Well it's a beat them up it's not the kind of game everyone like ^^
As for the name it's normal after all the character's name is also the name of a book : the divine comedy of Dante
But dmc's Dante (not the reboot version) is someone who never takes things too seriously, he is cocky and arrogant, he jokes a lot and that overall makes him lovable ! Despite the fact he is an OP half demon with insane powers his personality makes him somewhat reliable.
