Hey everyone,

Here is Inktober 5 and I gotta say I'm very happy with the out come of this drawing as the shading and line work is awesome in my opinion.

I drew my Naruto OC Saya as a mermaid. Now your probably wondering "How the hell is a girl in a school swimsuit a mermaid?" Well when I was in middle school at the time, I was looking up horror manga. In my search I found a manga called School Ningyo or School Mermaid. Looking at the title I didn't think it fits the horror genre, but I was certainly wrong.

After reading through it, I got my answer; the story is about an Urban legend for girls, that in order for them to win their crush they have to chant a spell at their school and hunt mermaids. Once they kill the mermaid they eat her flesh.

It's a little gruesome but not bad. When I was reading I really liked it cause its different, and I was sadden there was not a lot of chapters. But when I was searching for it again recently, the creator made more, and it goes deeper into the girls who hunt the mermaids. Now as for the mermaids themselves their not your typical mermaid since they don't have fins. As for the letter on the swimsuit, the girls have to hunt mermaids with the letter their crush's name starts with.

For Saya's she is a special case when it comes to her appearance...I'll just say she willingly gave her flesh to the girl. I don't want to spoil anything so please check out the manga.
