Either hedgehogs or bats. Some species can't mix as far as having kids. That's how I see it anyway.

Oh I don't mind animals that can legitimately pair together to create hybrids. Tions and tigers, zebras and hourses, horses and donkeys, dog and wolf. These are animals that can create actual hybrids, even if in some cases the offspring ends up being sterile (though that may or may not happen for a sonic character) but I'm just not a huge fan of mixes of animals that can't really breed in real life like hedgefoxes and bat-echidnas or something. i don't know why, but it's just how I am. That doesn't mean I won't draw them for people that ask though.
