Song was born in the Nook. Her mother didn't want her and dumped her with her father Cajeta. Though she grew up with only her father she was always happy and loved, she had plenty of friends in the Nook and was very optimistic. When her dad met Jack and they moved into a new home together, Song was a bit sad to be leaving the Nook but continued to be very optimistic and energetic.
When the Deelagun attacked, Cajeta and Jack took her and her sister Blaire to the Nook to be safe. Song helped Jack keep her younger sister calm while they could hear the the battle going on in the center of town. As the night wore on most of the wynglings were ushered into safer rooms but Song was worried about her father, Cajeta had gone out to keep the Nook safe and hadn't come back. Jack seemed worried and disappeared at one point when Alma came in with a shaken yellow wyngling. Song slipped out after Jack and followed him to another room where in injured were. She was shaken to see her father, laying on the floor, his leg torn and twisted and blood covering his chocolate fur. Before she was caught, Song ran back to Blaire and pretended that everything was fine.
She caught the plague that spreed through the town and though she recovered she lost her front paws to sharp beast claws. The death that she witnessed in that time causes her continuous nightmares but she hides it in the day where she is still a bright and happy wyngling.
As she is slowly growing up, Song has started to help Alma out in the Nook. She helps welcome the new wynglings to the town and is always there to be someone's friend or confidant.
