Nice character moment with Midnight Owl immediately dropping the try-outs to tend to his city.
This was the first TF try-out I saw, and I liked your explanation for why the TF Trio didn't have their weapons on them, which is why they didn't in mine either. You inspired me!
Good luck in the try-outs! I have a feeling Midnight Owl might make a good fit for the team, though I'm curious as to why he wants to join up - He doesn't seem the type.

Yeah, I originally planned to do the same for Loa's coma. She would have looked a lot paler and had a few more tubes stuck in her, but then tortox gave me a reference that I could use instead. Still, Virtus does the proper medical thing in trying to talk to her as he normally would.
Yeah, I know, but I meant character motivation. I'd love to delve in Midnight Owl psyche on why he considers Thunderforce worth his time. ^^

I'm gonna be honest here: I think all the applicants are gonna make it.
There are, what, nine heroes that tried out. There are three TF sub teams to fill out. Spread between them all, there are just enough entries to put three heroes in group thereby meeting the minimum requirement needed to really be considered a "team".

I was actually looking forward to how things might have went if we had a smaller turn-out. Would have been hilarious if someone in-universe had complained about "the Thunderforce having a serious PR problem" or something like that.
As it is now, we've officially had fourteen try-outs.
Let's not forget that each team will be headed up by Mighty American, Firebird and Arrow-Kill. And then there's the. Loa's out of commission due to her coma, so that leaves only six (not counting the leaders for the new sub-groups) people in the current line-up. My guess is that these six will either be split up among the three new teams or become the new "Alpha team."
Thus, if the new Alpha, Beta and Gamma team each has one veteran leader, two additional members from the current line-up and four recruits from the try-outs (some may not be a good fit for Thunderforce's image so they'll probably get cut) , that's three groups with seven members of both old and new in each, twenty-one members in total.
Of course, there's no way to know for sure until reveals the roster.

Yeah, I made it with two hours to boot, as I had the countdown clock open in another folder as I put the finishing touches to them. I understand the confusion though, but with the new 10 submissions a day rule forced upon group moderators, my pages had to wait until could post them. So no worries, it got in on time.

It was kinda sad because in the comic Batman really changes his voice without the help of gadgets and when we try to change our voice it sounds like we smoke 40 packs of cigarette a day XD

I don't know. I've noticed that you take a DC Comics base for your characters appearances with the capes. With me, I think a character only needs a cape if they fly like Superman. Which is why Boomerang doesn't have one. Not that there's anything wrong with Midnight Owl having one.

MO's previous mask is inspired by Owlman's mask, that's why I have to change it and now except for the Owl-themed MO and Owlman are not that familiar.
For me all of my favorite vigilante wears a cape: Batman, Moonknight, Nite-Owl, and more. I think that's why I feel like to putting a cape on my vigilantes.

I read Marvel comics too, but I still hate the way the replace Wolverine with X-23. She could be a legend of her own but they just have to let her wear the Wolverine mask. But "The death of Wolverine" is one of my favorite story, it shows you the best of Logan <3

Great idea having Midnight Owl vanish like that at the end of his audition. He proved he's good enough - but will drop everything if his city's in danger. So what will the judges decide? Will they respect his sense of duty, or worry that he can't be depended on? Great set of pages.
