So, like many folks, I've adored Mr. De Lancie since I was a child. Naturally, my favorite show growing up was The Next Generation. So I blended my love of ponies and space into this simple, small painting. I'd have done larger, but wanted to keep it small and simple so it would be easy for him to accept if he liked it. Made it another space painting to reference his days as Q, as well as the moon and sun for the obvious MLP reference, and of course, Discord appearing in the yellow space dust.In the end, his reaction was so genuine and appreciative, he seemed almost taken aback. After a sniff, he said "Oh! Hot off the press!". I had finished it just the night before. I'm glad he loved it, because especially after the encouragement, support, and inspiration he gave me this weekend during our meet as well as his support for my writing, it's not even close to what I should owe him. He brought back an inspiration in me that I really needed.
Hopefully you guys think it's decent as well!
Discord belongs to Hasbro and all that jazz.

That's really cool. I think it's awesome, because even though he might not know much about the show itself, it shows that he really appreciates all the good people in this fandom that make it worth being a part of. He's such a pleasant and genuine man.
