worktime: approx 2hdone with: black biro and some pencil
motivation: On my first days in here, Tarantino asked me to do a predator pic with a half broken mask....Rather than painting the whole body I decided to concentrate on itΒ΄s face.
I daresay it wasnΒ΄t that easy to draw this bastard.

This has long been one of my favourite Predator pieces of artwork. The crazed, drooling and deranged look of triumph on the Predator's face is perfect and incredibly emotive. The detail of the anatomy and equipment is excellent as well.

Excuse me that I comment a bit lately, but IΒ΄m very busy right now. Still I just have to comment to it, itΒ΄s great that you remembered my whish. This one is so damn well succeeded that IΒ΄m nearly speachless. I love the way how the ugly Predator face hides behind the mask. The shades look perfectly and you put a lot of effort in the detail work. The death-skull is a wonderful idea and enforces the PredatorΒ΄s hunter-look. I really can imagine that it was extremely hard to manage this drawing-task, but you mastered it well. Of course a fav!!!

Inhuman? Why? The two hours refer to the pic itself...I had to do lots of research for the preds face (at least to get a picture of how he really looks alike), armour and most of all this damn mask, so simple and yet so hard to draw. Then (after at least 40min of " research"
I needed 1h for the pencil sketch and the biro drawing afterwards. Shading and shadowing with biro and pencil took only 30min...the next 30min I spent refining those.
Normally I "work" even faster, but IΒ΄m trying to do more cleaner pics, so I have to work carefully.

Like always, your pencil and artwork amazes me. In fact, there is this guy that I sit next to in Creative Writing, I noticed he draws things alot like you. I gave him your address, www(dot)midnite71715(dot)com and told him to visit you. He is bashful about his work being critized if he gets an account on DA. He does it soo darn fast and he also does tattoo art, it's amazing. Neways, if he should get an account on here Methinks you two would become best of friends.

This is an excellent pic (as all your work is) but the one thing I might say is a little off is ths skull. I've worked with human bones, and the eye sockets are a little off from one another.
