Description
To the family that pressed candy into my hands, and welcomed a stranger into their child's coming of age ceremony in a Synagogue and said to me, “This is the way of our life”.
To the priest that stopped me when I was at the door of his Ethiopian Church, and beckoned a non-believer to sit down on his praying grounds and told me, “We all got to believe in something, whatever it is”.
To the Jews solemnly praying at the Wailing Wall, who carried on with their traditions and tolerated my intruding presence by saying nothing.
To the man who gave me flowers, ones that he buys from his friend every day to help him pay for his kidney dialysis, and said to me, “I must help my friend”.
Religious or not, place a little faith in humanity.

Thank you all for the kindness shown during my stay, I truly hope everyone is fine over there.
(P.S. If this looks familiar from somewhere, I have a separate DA account I want to close and am currently merging it into this one.)
