Description
Golten (Gold + Molten Lava) relates to the desert's often unattainable hidden treasures as seen by it's lava body which is wrapped in the fabrics of liquid gold. I was originally going to make its' ability "Flame Body" but then I realized Magma Armor is a much more obvious choice..
So shiny... Enjoy!

It's due to the Pokemon Juniper planned on giving you being corrupted. And since you get them later they technically aren't starters.
