In my upcoming Pokemon Metro Project fangame this will be your starter. Just a reminder that Cage type is just Steel re-named.Vacage (Vacant+Cage) isn't given to you by a professor, it's like a pet and very common in the wild. Using 1 of three special evolution crystals you will be able to evolve Vacage into either a Wood (Grass), Fire or Water type evolution. And that's all you need to know for now.

Yes. Except in the evolutions they have something in their cages.
