Description My boyfriend made me a cake in the shape of Kisuke's hat for my birthday. We shared it at a following Anime Club meeting on campus. I decided to make a shrine/tribute table to go along with it. Yes, I bought that towel specifically because it was green and white stripped. I was going to put my messenger bag on the table also because I bought it customized from Timbuk2 to be green and white stripped.

It was tasty for the first (and maybe last) time he'd used fondant. I will upload another picture to present the fact that he made the bottom layer (including the rim of the hat) of of rice crispy treats.

Update: just for clarification, the boyfriend that made this is now my ex, as of December 26, 2008. We're still friends, so I will still let him know of all comments.

That's actually a bag I purchased at Ikasucon in Ft. Wayne, IN a few years ago There are characters from D.Grey-Man on the other side in the same fashion.

And yeah, Food Network is awesome. I plan on attempting to get Ace of Cakes to do my wedding cake. Their minimum price is a deposite of $1000 though, haha.
