EDIT: Reworked it completely, improving anatomy, composition, and quality. Much happier w/ the result!A quick Orca sketch inspired by watching the documentary film Blackfish, on how these social, highly intelligent and incredible creatures become psychotic when confined to the equivalent of a bathtub for their size to perform tricks for "entertainment".
It's truly heartbreaking what humans do to each other and the creatures we share this planet with.
Orcas have been one of my favourite animals since watching Free Willy as a child, and I hope I can one day see a pod in the wild.
EDIT:
I've known about the diverse variants of orcas in the wild, but I only recently found this fascinating poster outlining the numerous characteristics found between the variants in our world. They're really incredible creatures.
