Second of three illustrations for Into a White and Soundless Place by cm/mumblemutter. Drawn for Marvel Big Bang 2013.

The story is an AU in which Thor is raised by Loki in Jotunheim (it's complicated) and becomes Loki's war leader once he's grown. This is Thor, warrior of Jotunheim with his mount.

This was probably one of the most frustrating drawings I have done in a while. I hereby solemnly swear to figure out bear anatomy before starting colours. Believe you me, the thing was even more illogical before. Unfortunately there's only so much you can cover up with acrylics and still keep to the same cp style. And yeah, I know, Thor's helmet is too big. That's because his face used to be too wide. Please, don't ask.
