This is the revised, finalized, and all-around more 'shiny' version of my Endzone audition.

Name: Noire (Rouge Noire)
Age: about 19
Hair Color: Black-blue
Eye Color: Crimson red

Strengths: Regenerates (quickly), incredible upper arm strength, extra sense in his eyes allows him to read peoples' minds and create illusions based off of their memories, alter-ego 'Rouge Noire' possesses nearly unlimited powers of regeneration.

Weaknesses: Violently allergic to water, highly egotistical, ability to maintain 'Rouge Noire' highly limited when not in New Moon cycle (perhaps three or four minutes, currently), practically helpless after returning to normal from 'Rouge Noire' (Literally passes out, sometimes for days at a time).

Other Notes: Psychotic personality, frequently says nothing but repeating the word 'mother' over and over again. During the New Moon (when the moon is completely covered in shadow), Noire's ability to use 'Rouge Noire' is limitless.

History: Second son born to a wealthy family in Japan, after his older brother. A timid, good natured boy who loved his family above everything else, his entire life changed when his little sister, Mierielle, was born. Due to complications related to the birthing process, Noire's mother died while giving birth to Mierielle. His mother's death shook Noire's psyche irreversibly. His Father died of a broken heart shortly thereafter.

He managed to hide his growing hatred for the world around him, suppressing his emotions subconsciously as he continued to live on with his siblings. Finally, one day his hatred grew so much that it awakened the demon sleeping inside him, sending him into a blind frenzy that might've annihilated everything in a seven-mile radius if his older brother hadn't stopped him, nearly losing his life in the process.

Long ago, Noire's family had made a pact with a powerful demon, suffusing their blood with demonic power to become immortal. The hidden side-effect of this was that at some point in their lives, members of the family would lose control of their demonic powers and go into a frenzy. During and after this time, the person would have access to their full demonic potential. Fearful that this awful power would one day be put to bad use, the family isolated themselves from the world, opting instead to live peaceful, tranquil lives.

After going on a rampage and severing himself from the family, Noire now wanders the world in search of power. Blaming Mierielle for his mother’s death, and envious of his older brother who, because he is of purer blood, possesses powers far greater than those of his, Noire’s goal is to obtain enough power to murder his sister, who continues to live under the protection of his brother, and finally discover the means to resurrect his mother so that he can go back to living a life of peace with her, not realizing that she would never forgive him for the lengths he would be willing to go through to bring her back.

Home: He wanders the world, so he has no true home, but he derives the name he’s given himself from the French language, and seems most content to pursue his goal without killing everything and anything when he is in Europe, so he is generally referred to as living in France.

Hobbies: His hobbies include being evil, burning everything to the ground, laughing insanely, and playing the violin.

Trivia: Noire first appeared as an original character that I made to include in a Megatokyo/Endgames fanfic, but since he didn’t fit in very well with the medieval theme (wearing a leather long coat will tend to do that), I adapted him into my first original character.

Several changes have been made to him since I gave him his own story. He has undergone a few minor physical changes (mostly his eyes – they used to look somewhat normal). He is also no longer human, but rather partially demonic. He also started out as a good guy, but he turned into the ‘main bad guy’ as I developed his story. (The story instead follows the trials and misadventures of his older brother, with Miereille as the main character.)
