Description
Character made for the upcomming RPG Noir. A little premature submission but what the hell, it's only one of many. Besides he's one of my favs
His skin condition is set to 'dead skin' since he's dead ( no he's not a zombie, just filled with a dark malevolent force ). This is all from Noir I'll submit for a little time to come, just wanted to show you a glimpse of the game.

Thx Salem, I think the style suits the degenerate world it illustrates. Unfortunately Noir will be released in Swedish only for now and later on in German but we still keep the english market in mind so who knows

Heh, because he's dead. His eyes are actually completely black but the lighting I put in afterwards gave off the illusion of pupils

I am in love with the transition of light to dark in this, it's used to effectively enhance the power and grotesque feel of the work.

Love lighting and adding deep shadows/dark spots in things, always gives the artwork a dramatic effect. One thing to always look for in any piece you're working on is the dark/black spots. Places where the shadows are deepest and mold the rest of the picture around these spots since they are the foundation of the artwork and gives it shape and purpose. Even when you work with light colors only there's always a few details wich are heavier than the others and so this can be applied there as well
