Two drawings would better explain. A person normal, and another playing. But it's normal not understand. If we think, all instruments are visible but the voice didnt. Therefore, the hair of a singer is different from all others. It is this difference that can create a certain discomfort for the singer.
An example: I have very curly hair. With the movement hair walks up and down to open and close. An instrument that opens and closes is the accordion. Someone with hair like mine could play (although the accordion have other parts) without being need have exactly the same structure. A straight hair you could not already do this. XD

hahaha XDD you're right, but I guess the mouth looks kind of strange because I tend to draw action panels very fast, to not lose any of the expression or feeling I'm feeling on that moment. I'm kind of weirdo you know.

Hair is a musical instrument. For this to happen, and as there are many instruments, haircuts can not be "normal." The hair was consistent with the instrument. how a story could turn out of something like that...
maybe I dont seeing your point clearly. But I do know
that the haircut has to do with the instrument. Me as
musician know that very well (waves his long hair...and makes a
strong 0-2-2 XDD)
